It is the policy of George Mason University to comply with federal copyright law, all related law codified at 17 U.S.C. §101 et seq and also the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), a federal law that governs the educational records of eligible students All faculty, staff and students must adhere to University copyright policy and are expected to seek consultation and advice from the Copyright Office, University Libraries, and Office of the University Registrar when using the copyrighted works of others and sharing content outside the Blackboard Learn environment.

Lisa Shea Mundt and Amber Hart, co-founders of the Pulse of GovCon, offer customized training and facilitation support and on-demand, pre-recorded training modules that can be accessed in our shop.

For the benefit of students who wish to gain insights on the government contracting industry, a video was created based on a September 2021 training event. The Center for Government Contracting sincerely appreciates having this video as a free resource on GovCon 101.

Among the many aspects they cover, students will understand that government contracting is much more than a contract. Agencies and businesses in this industry cannot complete their public mission without benefit of all of the business areas being applied to this work -- Accounting, Finance, Management, Information Systems & Operations Management, and Marketing.
