On a chilly, dark morning while most people were still sleeping, George Mason University students and alumni boarded buses from the Fairfax Campus to head down to Richmond for the annual Mason Lobbies. It’s an important opportunity to meet with state representatives and delegates, and make our voices heard. Wearing scarfs in Mason’s trademark green and gold, Patriots were at the Virginia State Capitol to discuss such pressing topics as financial aid, faculty and staff compensation, and college affordability.
